Angular Crab (Goneplax rhomboides)

This is a beautiful crab found on occasions in the lower shore. Yellow or orangey in colour it has a distinct shape and long chelae (claws) at the front. They typically burrow themselves into sand and gravel. It is found on most shores around the UK
